Sydenham Garden

The owners of a stunning country home near Sydenham, Ontario, reached out to us with a vision to merge two separate gardens into one expansive space. They desired a design that captured the essence of an English Garden. Throughout our consultations, we collaborated closely with them to develop a comprehensive plan featuring a diverse array of perennials, shrubs, and trees, ensuring a vibrant display of seasonal blooms from spring through fall, while carefully considering plant selection, placement, height, and a harmonious blend of colors and textures. In the construction phase, we utilized our excavator to clear the existing grass and seamlessly integrate the two gardens into a cohesive landscape. We enriched the area with fresh triple-mix soil and installed a weed barrier before planting the new garden. Once the planting was finalized, we topped it off with about 4 inches of natural brown mulch to enhance its beauty and health.
